220 - Integrated Math I (4 credits) A non-traditional course in which students learn mathematics in the context of practical applications organized in five strands: Number sense and Operations; Patterns, Relations, and Algebra; Measurement; and Data Analysis, Statistics and Probability. The course is intended for students who have difficulty with the abstract nature of the traditional approach. Preparation for the MCAS exam will be included in the curriculum. It is expected that this course is part of a two-year sequence.
