Mathematics education reform

Principles and Standards for School Mathematics from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
Since 1989, the NCTM has developed several standards documents that have had a major influence on mathematics education at LHS and nationally. This new 2000 edition reflects the most current thinking, research, experience, and expertise on mathematics education, and establishes a vision of what mathematics learning can and should be.
Mathematics Curriculum Framework from the Mass. Dept. of Education
Part of the education reform process in Massachusetts, this documents describes what students are expected to learn about mathematics.
Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS)
MCAS is the statewide test, based on the Curriculum Frameworks, that is taken by all students in grade 10, and must be passed before graduation. This site has released questions from past tests over several years.
