Steven
Bogart, one of Lexington High Schools two Drama teachers, has
a B.F.A. in painting from Tufts University and the School of the Museum
of Fine Arts in Boston, and his masters degree in theater from
Emerson College. Mr. Bogart has been teaching drama and art on the
secondary school level for 23 years. He has shown art work all over
the world including the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Berkshire
Center for Contemporary Art, and Boston City Hall. He has also performed,
designed and directed professionally in Boston and the Berkshires.
He has directed over 100 plays and musicals. Mr. Bogart says his greatest
joy in teaching is developing and producing original plays with students:

an authentic voice for students and empowering them with their own
