News & Announcements SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS Summer assignments have been posted for Advanced Earth Sciences, AP Biology and AP Chemistry. CONGRATULATIONS! A number of LHS Science students and teams have been competing for honors this semester. Click on the title of each for more details. Intel Science Talent Search Finalist: Noah Arbersfeld (09) placed 6th at the Intel Science Talent Search 2009. This competition is America’s oldest and most prestigious pre-college science competition. 2009 LHS Science & Engineering Fair: 18 LHS students were award winners at the Massachusetts State fair, held May 1 & 2. National Oceanographic Science Bowl (NOSB): The National Oceanographic Science Bowl (NOSB) team took second place nationwide. Department of Energy (DOE) National Science Bowl: The LHS team took 2nd place  nationwide New England Regional Bot-Ball competition: The Lexington High School Robotics Team participated in the New England Regional Bot-Ball competition held on Saturday, March 28 at UMASS Lowell. Mark Chonofsky will represent LHS at the International Science Fair next week held in Reno Nevada.
