¡Bienvenidos! You and your group are part of a new travel company, "Quetzal Adventure Tours". Your responsibility is to entice tourists to travel to Central America. This is an opportunity to work with a team to develop an exciting travel brochure that will exhibit your country of Central America as a leading vacation destination.
Your team has been assigned a country in Central America by "Quetzal Adventure Tours". Now it is your teams responsibility to become an expert on your country. You are expected to develop a unique travel brochure by using internet web sites.
Your brochure will include general information about the country, historic sites, recreational opportunities, entertainment, climate and weather conditions, accommodations, museums, food, map showing sites to visit, shopping, travel tips and travel advisories. Pictures and graphics will be used to illustrate the above. Finally you will have the opportunity to use your travel brochure to sell your travel destination to the class

TRAVEL AGENT
The travel agent will be responsible for helping the people to get to their destination. The travel agent needs to shop around and find the best prices (in US $ and the local currency) for the following:
The travel agent needs to offer a variety of packages depending on the amount a traveler wishes to spend. The travel agent must keep in mind that people of different incomes and interests like to travel. Some like to travel first class others don't mind having to ruff it. The travel agent must offer a variety of packages that have many choices of travel, accommodations and activities.
AMBASSADOR
The ambassador will be the person to provide a complete profile of the destination. The ambassador will provide the following information:
HISTORIAN
The historian is responsible for providing a history of the country, report on any important pre-Columbian civilizations or cultures that existed, in addition any sites of trivial interest. The historian should research and include the following:
ACTIVITY COORDINATOR
The Activity Coordinator will be responsible for everyone having a great time on their vacation. Find the hot spots in their country. Remember that not everyone will like the same thing. Not everyone will be the same age. Some will want to get an early start on their day. Others will want to party all night and sleep late. This webquest should be a fun and rewarding experience. As a result of this webquest will be an expert in you country and be able to present your travel destination with enthusiasm. Through this experience you will have gained an appreciation for the countries of Central America.
