Integrated Math I is designed for the math student who needs
an interactive approach to the basic concepts of Algebra and Geometry with
the goal of being successful in a more advanced Math course. The focus
is to show that Math is needed in everyday experiences by exposing the student
to such applications as using decimal/fraction/percent functions to determine
net pay, taxes, interests on loans, budgeting, investments, including algebraic
and geometric functions. Computers will also be used to reinforce spreadsheet,
database, graphical, and Internet research techniques.
