Week
one: Research your area of specialty and prepare the feuille de
rôle.
Week
two: The specialist from each group will meet with their counterparts
from other regions to share information. Each group will then prepare
their carte
and decide on the menu
that they will serve at the Fête Gastronomique. You will choose
a name for your restaurant, choose the recipes for your meal,
translate recipes, and decide when and where the various dishes will
be prepared.
Week
three: You will work with your group to prepare the menu, make a list
of ingredients to buy, and prepare the script of your talk which you
will give in French to the guests.
Week
four: Prepare the various courses, buy the cheeses, beverages, and
fresh baguette for La Fête de la Gastonomie during the week of
May 20, 2002.
