Continuing on with Angles

This week we will continue working with angles and various ways of finding their measure (how many degrees they have).  Any worksheets that are not finished in class should be finished at home.

Starting work with angles

We are starting to look at angles.  There is a lot of vocabulary
associated with angles, particularly about pairs of angles. Make sure you have complete note sheets.

Lengths and Midpoints

We are starting this week with Notes on Lengths and Midpoints. We will have two nights of practice (eg. homework) and then start bringing all of our ideas together.

Naming and Drawing Homework

We are starting the year by learning some geometric vocabulary and how to name geometric figures. So far you should have three salmon sheets of notes which you can use for the quick quiz on Friday.

Friday is the second day of Rosh Hashanah. I will not be here but you will still have a Friday quiz followed by an activity. On Monday, 9/17 we will review and on Tuesday, 9/18 we will have a test on all of the material so far.
