More work with parallel lines

We spend a week working with harder parallel line problems. The homework every day is to finish whatever handout or worksheet was started in class.

10/22 Parallel lines in more complicated diagrams

10/23  Shapes/Polygons with parallel sides

10/24  Graphing parallel and perpendicular lines

10/26  Quiz of this week's topics plus an extra credit worksheet

Angles with Parallel Lines

We learned about the names of angle pairs formed when three lines intersect.  Now we will see what happens when two of the lines are parallel.

10/15  HW p.133-135/19-31 odd, 32-37, 47-50

10/16  HW finish "Angles from 3 Lines Practice"

10/17  HW finish "More Practice" worksheet

10/19  Quick Quiz on angle pairs and parallel lines

More with angles

We will continue practicing with our angle pairs: adjacent, complementary, supplementary, vertical. Some of the problems involve algebra, some are word problems.

Start the week with classwork using algebra and vertical pairs.
The homework is a worksheet about angle relationships.
