We will be moving into the Brown book to do more geometric
applications of the trig functions. You will be responsible for
completing the classwork problems as well as the homework.

trig functions (section 4.7 in Demana). Always remember that

We spent an enjoyable block experimenting the combinations
of sine and cosine functions on the calculator (download the worksheet here). Continue with HW.

We graphed all six trig functions and looked at how all of them are
derived from the values for sine and cosine. Quiz of 4.1 to 4.5 tomorrow.

It involves a great deal of vocabulary and the concepts that go
with it. If you find the Demana book doesn't answer your questions,
try the Brown book. Bring your remaining questions to class.
