Matrices - more than you imagined!

Matrices is a relatively new branch of mathematics - only about 150 years old! It is used for a tremendous variety of applications, many of which we will explore. Here is the syllabus.  Much of the homework will be worksheets so the details will be posted later.

3/25  post-vector-test HW Read Brown sections 14-1 and 14-2 and do
           B  p.521-522/9,11-13,16  and  p.526-528/5-11 odd,12,15,16,18
3/27  Identity and Inverse
HW finish worksheet plus D p.565/33-35,37,45-48
