HW due Fri. 9/5 (originally due Tue. 9/2)

In our first class on Thu. 8/28, we discussed limits: some specific reasons that we will be interested in limits in this course, and a precise definition of the concept of limit.

There's no mathematical assignment over the long weekend, but read the Course Guide, and if I haven't taught you before, please send me an e-mail introducing yourself. If you want to read ahead in the textbook, we are beginning the course at section 2.1.
