Open to freshmen, sophomores or juniors. This course is designed to help students become knowledgeable consumers, informed citizens, and productive workers in today?s changing world. Through projects, reports and classroom discussions, students learn to develop an awareness of business practices and procedures that will influence their daily lives. Special units include a study of careers and ways to invest money. Macintosh and PC computers will be used for word processing, spreadsheet, powerpoint and database applications as well as Internet research.

Part I should be take before Part II. Also, it is highly recommended that Part I and Part II be taken sequentially.

The basic prescription for preventing deflation is straightforward, at least in principle: Use monetary and fiscal policy as needed to support aggregate spending, in a manner as nearly consistent as possible with full utilization of economic resources and low and stable inflation.
