School and Community
Lexington is a residential community with a rich history dating back to before the
Revolutionary War. Located twelve miles northwest of Boston, the town is home to numerous
high-technology industries and commercial establishments. The town population is about 30,000.
Ninety-three percent of the town’s eligible children attend its six elementary schools,
two middle schools, and one high school that serve the educational needs of approximately 6,100
students.
