1) Senator Short yesterday beat the lava temple, and is now on his way to Saving Hyrule and the Princess
VI. Committee Reports: 1) Oversight met, discussed ways to improve recycling
VII. Library Pass Bill:
1) Met with Dean Cole and Librarians, Dean Cole ok with it, but Librarians Against it
2) Mechem sees a problem not knowing where kids are, but a system could be that would show when students are signed in where
3) Mechem's reasoning is faulty, as the Math Help room could be accessed without visiting study hall first, or students can stay after with a teacher and arrive to study hall late
4) A lot of students go directly to resource, concerns are about kids just wandering, and a teacher having to deal with 15-20 passes thrust at them at the end of a block
5) There is more justification for wandering in the status quo, with kids able to blame long waits in study hall
6) In some crowded blocks, librarians control the flow of kids
7) Is there a way these points could be brought up with the librarians or Mechem?
8) When you enter library, passes are time stamped
9) Problem is teachers and librarians not looking at passes
10)Dean Cole said secretaries are happy to deal with the library passes
11) Question is called on the bill
12) Bill passes
VIII. New Business:
1) Informal discussion of MIAA academic standards
a. Well, there are no GPA rules, just course completion ones
b. Bill would have students pass four year long academic classes
