Committee Reports

Catsouphes:  Oversight met and discussed potential oversights in the poster policy bill.

Fiveash:  Climate met to discuss two issues: the ongoing recycling bill, and we thank Senator Williams, and the issue of where the graduation will be held.  The committee is working to expand the conversation to involve more people.  Also, Senator Girondel would wish to thank all the people involved in the freshman elections, which were a big success.

Dhanani:  The Executive Committee met with Dr. Seasholes and discussed the posters issue, specifically as relates to the political issue posters, not the extracurricular posters. We shall disseminate guidelines for putting up posters, so that they are not taken down because they are 'illegal', so to speak.

Shield: Communications had simply wonderful attendance.  We discussed posters and getting the word out about Senate activities.

Freshman Orientation/Meet in Committees

Dhanani:  Freshmen will now come up to get pointers from the Executive Committee, while the other committees meet.  But first, please introduce yourselves.

Kim: Peter Kim

Lubershane: Peter Lubershane

Collins: David Collins

May: Jenny May

Gillmor: Susan Gillmor

Park: Hye-Young Park

Robertson: Allie Robertson
