2) When are we going to have senate day? - a. January 24th

3) Communications will now be meeting on Thursdays

4) Policy met, discussed Library Pass Bill

VII. Homeroom Announcement Sanity Bill:
1) Amendment: Remove Sanity from title, appreciate the humor, but it's effectively calling the status quo insane.

2) Amendment passes

3) Bill Passes

VIII. Library Pass Bill:

1) F. Amendment: Change rationale point 2 to "A study hall teacher's signature on the library pass is unnecessary due to the fact that if the student does not have a study, yet goes to the library, he or she..."

2)   For freshman it is inconvenient to have to go back to the study before the library

3) This would not open the floodgates to the library, as the bill still requires academic teachers to distribute passes

4) The bill doesn't include that students still need passes

5) Says subs won't have to sign the pass already there

6) Is the secretary component an actual policy, or is it just being written here

7) For math help room at least, secretaries do the passes

8) F Amendment: Add with passes in the second sentence of bill - a. "I guess"

9) Amend: Delete after "block ends"

10) Amend: Add, "with library passes" to second sentence - a. "Ok"

11) Why do the students need to go straight to the library, this has the potential to turn into a clerical nightmare for teachers. Study hall lists change all the time, and passes are often very unclear as to who the teacher is. It is very common for students to arrive back late from the library. This bill would severely magnify the problem

12) No they have mega study halls in the Science Lecture Hall

13) Not sure exactly how it would serve to amplify the problem

14) Not hard if you took attendance before block ends, after the bell rings, it's an attendance problem, not a teacher problem
